Skilled documentation when the neck or thyroid is the reason for or a factor in a Part A stay — post-thyroidectomy and neck-surgery care (airway, hypocalcemia, hematoma, voice), thyroid-disorder management, post-neck-dissection recovery, and cervical immobilization.
