Mental status returning toward baseline after treatment of the precipitating infection, attention improved, fluctuation resolving, no safety events. Skilled observation for resolution/recurrence required; supports Section C.

Capacity/consent context

Cognition assessed against baseline in the context of care decisions, findings documented objectively, representative involved per status. Skilled cognitive assessment required; supports Section C.
