Post-stroke method working

Expressive aphasia; communication board and yes/no reliable, receptive intact, participated in therapy/ADL and reported needs (incl. pain check) with the board and extra time. Skilled management/reinforcement to sustain participation and reporting required; supports Section B.

Post-trach communication

Writing board and mouthing with staff, a reliable call-signal established (cannot vocalize), understanding intact. Safety-critical skilled establishment of a communication/call method; supports Section B.

AAC teaching

New AAC device introduced with SLP; resident using it for basic needs with return-demo progressing, staff trained on its use. Skilled teaching to competence enabling participation; supports Section B.
