Immunosuppressed infection

Low-grade fever/subtle change on immunosuppression — provider notified promptly, cultures/labs/evaluation per order, empiric management considered, close sepsis monitoring, representative notified; reassess; supports Section O/I. (Sepsis overlay.)

Severe drug reaction

Spreading rash with mucosal involvement/blistering and fever — suspected drug stopped, provider notified urgently, monitored/transferred per severity (SJS/TEN concern); documented; supports Section I.

Airway compromise from anaphylaxis/angioedema routes to the Respiratory reference; cytopenias and neutropenic fever route to the Hematologic reference and the Sepsis overlay; IVIG/immunotherapy access routes to the Lines/Drains/Devices reference; immunosuppressed infection routes to the Sepsis overlay.
