Skilled interventions
- Deliver the ordered restorative techniques for the required minutes and document participation and tolerance.
- Perform the periodic RN evaluation of the program and adjust goals/techniques based on response.
- Train and verify CNA carryover of each technique with return-demonstration.
Teaching / training (to mastery)
- Teach the resident/family the purpose of the program and safe technique, with teach-back.
- Train CNAs on the specific restorative technique (transfer, ambulation, ROM, restorative dining) with return-demonstration to competence (F726).
