Sudden hearing loss

Sudden unexplained hearing loss in one ear — provider notified urgently (treatment-time-sensitive), evaluation ordered, communication strategies adjusted; documented; supports Section B/I.

Vertigo fall-safety routes to the Falls reference; a central/stroke cause of vertigo or a deficit routes to the Neurological reference; the communication impact of a hearing deficit routes to the Communication reference; post-operative precautions route to the Post-Surgical overlay.
