- Nausea and vomiting — frequency and character, including any blood or coffee-ground appearance.
- Appetite and early satiety (detailed intake in Nutrition), heartburn, and difficulty swallowing.
- Abdominal pain (characterized in Pain) and any blood in the stool or black stools.
- Ostomy function — output, appliance fit, and any leakage or skin irritation.
