  • Skilled teaching and observation of eye-drop and ointment technique, to competence with return demonstration.
  • Reinforcement of diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy surveillance and coordination of eye-exam scheduling.
  • Low-vision safety adaptations and fall-risk mitigation (cross-reference Safety).
  • Coordination with the provider and eye-care specialist, and with Neurological for visual deficits with other neurologic signs.
