  • Head-injury precautions after a fall or strike — the specific signs (worsening headache, vomiting, drowsiness, confusion, vision change, weakness) and to seek emergency care for any of them.
  • Why the threshold to seek care is lower on an anticoagulant (cross-reference Anticoagulation).
  • Scalp-wound or lesion care and protection, with return demonstration where applicable.
  • Fall-prevention strategies to reduce future head strikes (cross-reference Safety).
  • For older adults, to report new scalp tenderness, jaw claudication, or visual change promptly.
  • When to call the agency versus when to activate EMS.
