Suspected DVT

New unilateral left-calf swelling, warmth, tenderness, calf pain on movement (post-op/immobility risk) — provider notified, limb assessed/measured, prophylaxis/activity reviewed, Doppler ordered, embolic monitoring; reassess; supports Section N/I. (Anticoag overlay.)

Acute limb ischemia

Affected foot cool/pale with diminished pulses, delayed refill, new rest pain — provider notified urgently, limb protected (no compression), monitoring, orders received; skilled recognition — emergency.

Worsening venous ulcer

Venous ulcer with increased exudate and new periwound erythema — provider notified, compression/treatment reviewed, wound reassessed (detail to Skin), infection monitoring, Section M updated; skilled management required.
