• Skilled male genitourinary assessment performed with consent, privacy, and a chaperone per policy, with trajectory tracking against baseline.
• Recognition and emergency escalation of testicular torsion, acute retention, an incarcerated hernia, and Fournier’s gangrene.
• Catheter and post-operative urologic care per order (catheter detail in Urinary/Renal; drains in Lines/Drains/Devices).
• Retention management including catheterization per order and coordination for prostatic care.
• Skilled teaching of catheter and post-operative care and the warning signs to report, to competence with return demonstration.
• Coordination with the provider and urology and cross-reference to Urinary/Renal and External Genitalia.
