Measure

  • Respiratory rate (rate, pattern, effort), heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and pain score.
  • SpO2 on room air AND on current oxygen flow; document the device and flow.
  • Pre- and post-nebulizer or bronchodilator response (respiratory rate, SpO2, breath sounds).
  • Functional tolerance: distance ambulated or stairs tolerated, and SpO2 with exertion.
