Document each teaching point with topic, method, audience, and measured mastery (teach-back percentage or return-demonstration result), per Foundations — Teach-back and return demonstration.

  • Recognizing and reporting constitutional warning signs — fever, unintentional weight loss, worsening fatigue, and appetite loss — and whom to call.
  • When constitutional symptoms together represent an emergency (for example fever with confusion).
  • Adherence to the plan addressing the underlying condition driving constitutional symptoms.
  • Supporting nutrition, hydration, and activity within the plan to maintain function (detail in the respective modules).
