  • Skilled allergic and immunologic assessment with reaction-readiness verification and infection surveillance.
  • Immediate anaphylaxis response — epinephrine per order or auto-injector first, then EMS — and management of the reaction pending transport.
  • Immunosuppressant-toxicity and infection surveillance and coordination per order.
  • Skilled teaching of the anaphylaxis action plan, auto-injector technique, allergen avoidance, and infection precautions, to competence with return demonstration.
  • Coordination of neutropenia with Hematologic and the airway with Respiratory.
  • Coordination with the provider and specialty services for reactions, immunosuppressant changes, and vaccine planning.
