Subjective — ask

  • A new lump or swelling in the neck, difficulty swallowing, or a choking or pressure sensation, and any change since the last visit.
  • Symptoms of thyroid over- or under-activity — racing heart, tremor, heat or cold intolerance, weight change, fatigue.
  • After thyroid surgery, tingling around the mouth or in the hands, muscle cramps, or neck swelling.
  • Adherence to thyroid medication (managed in Endocrine/Metabolic).
