• Specimen collection for urinalysis and culture per order when infection is suspected.
• Bladder scanning for retention and post-void residual where available and ordered.
• Fluid-balance management — intake-and-output tracking, daily weights, and diuretic-effect evaluation per order.
• Skilled assessment and coordination for suspected infection, retention, obstruction, or renal decline.
• Coordination with the provider for orders and with Nutrition and the Heart Failure overlay for diet and fluid plans.
